From her bright yellow caravan, Carol will be pouring you your most memorable coffee of The Catlins. Not surprising at a creative place like this, for which a break becomes a feast for eyes and taste buds.
The Little Rocket is conveniently located on the Southern Scenic route – at the Lost Gypsy Gallery in Papatowai.

Carol’s Treats
Every morning, Carol-of-the-coffee-caravan whips up delicious bakeries. She plucks apples and cuts rhubarb from her garden in Papatowai, and turns them into the tastiest muffins and cakes. Retro slices, crumbling cookies, yeasty cinnamon scrolls….. all fresh out of the oven. Check out her yellow caravan at the Lost Gypsy. Here, you’ll be sipping off the best coffee in Papatowai, take away – or served in rustic mugs. You will be surrounded by mosaics, stained glass windows and all sorts of gizmos. Quirky as! It is the place you want to refuel – at the start of the day, after long walks & drives, or after the extraordinary Lost Gypsy’s Theatre. The perfect and must-do break on your Catlins tiki tour. Also, while you’re here, look out for Carol’s cutest little pooch, Ginny, and give her a pat.
