The Lost Gypsy is taking a breather during the cooler months – a time to recharge, tinker, and craft new curiosities behind the scenes.

It’s our chance to create, explore new ideas, and get things ready for when the warmer seasons return.

We look forward to opening the doors again in late October, with new creations and surprises to share.

Bringing kids?

Our works of art are handmade and fragile. All children must be supervised, and please remind them to treat our creations with care.

The Lost Gypsy is in Papatowai, on The Catlins coast, between Invercargill and Dunedin. Look out for a green housebus and a yellow man.

Keep in mind that the only mobile network covering Papatowai is Vodafone (includes: 2Degrees, Kogan Mobile). But no worries, free wifi for customers, just ask us for the code.
